A complex cultural space created around stone—Jeju’s iconic symbol—where you can experience Jeju’s creation myths, history, and culture all in one place. Across its expansive grounds are exhibition halls focused on Jeju’s stone culture, outdoor sculptures, and walking trails. Visitors can naturally engage with the lives and culture of Jeju people, including stories of Seolmundae Halmang, the creator goddess in Jeju mythology. With lush forests, oreum (parasitic cones), and volcanic rock landscapes blending together, it’s also a popular destination for strolls and healing trips, and a signature cultural attraction where you can feel Jeju’s unique identity.
