Namguksa

Namguksa is a traditional Buddhist temple located on Jungang-ro in Jeju City. Every year in early summer, vibrant hydrangeas bloom in full, drawing many visitors and making it one of Jeju’s 대표 hydrangea spots. From the temple entrance, a lush cedar forest path continues alongside hydrangeas, creating a beautiful landscape. Though close to the city center, it offers a calm, secluded atmosphere. Rather than flashy photo zones, its charm lies in the natural scenery—perfect for a slow, leisurely walk to enjoy the feel of Jeju in summer. It’s also close to the airport, making it an easy stop at the start or end of a trip.
