소개
Located midway along Jeju City’s 516 Road, this is a 대표 natural attraction where you can see the Jeju horse (Natural Monument No. 347) up close. Set in the mid-mountain grasslands of Hallasan, the sweeping green fields paired with Jeju horses create an especially striking landscape, and the site is also known as a symbolic place to experience Jeju’s traditional livestock culture. From spring to fall, the horses are actually pastured here, so you can watch them graze and run freely—making it one of the best places to capture Jeju’s iconic scenery. In winter, pasturing may be restricted to protect the horses, so it’s best to check the season before visiting. Admission is free and the area is easy to explore on foot; it also pairs well with a 516 Road drive itinerary along with Hallasan Ecological Forest and Saryeoni Forest Path.
