소개
Sanbanggulsa Temple is a Buddhist temple built inside a natural cave halfway up Sanbangsan Mountain, and is one of Jeju’s 대표 historical and cultural landmarks. Inside the cave—located at about 150m above sea level—there is a Buddhist statue enshrined, and the cave’s mysterious atmosphere is enhanced by water droplets falling from the ceiling and the local legends associated with them. From the front of the cave, you can enjoy a refreshing panoramic view stretching to Yongmeori Coast, the Hyeongje Islands, and even Gapado Island, drawing many visitors. It is a special place where Sanbangsan’s majestic scenery meets Jeju’s Buddhist heritage.
