This natural recreation forest is located on the southern slopes of Hallasan at an elevation of about 600–800 m. Along thick cypress groves and various forest trails, visitors can enjoy a refreshing forest bath. Each season brings different scenery—azaleas, fresh spring greens, autumn foliage, and snowy landscapes—and from the observatory you can take in panoramic views of downtown Seogwipo and even the sea. With facilities such as Forest Houses, a forest recreation lodge, walking paths, and an observatory, it remains a popular spot for family outings and healing getaways.
