Suwolbong

Although it is a relatively low oreum at 77 m above sea level, the summit offers outstanding views taking in Chagwido, Biyangdo, and Jeju’s western coastline at a glance. Formed by a volcanic eruption about 18,000 years ago, it is a tuff ring landform where traces of volcanic activity are well preserved, and it has been designated a key geosite of the UNESCO Global Geopark. The trail to the top is gentle, making it easy for anyone to visit, and the crimson sunset scenery near dusk is especially beautiful—making it one of Jeju’s 대표 sunset spots. You can also walk along the nearby geology trail to experience Jeju’s nature and geological history together.
