Cheonwangsa

Cheonwangsa is a traditional temple located on the slopes of Hallasan Mountain near Jeju’s 1100 Road, offering a quiet place to rest and recharge in nature where valleys and rock cliffs come together. Since its founding in 1955, it has carried on an important part of Jeju’s Buddhist culture. Behind the Daeungjeon Hall, the massive Yongbawi (Dragon Rock) and the walking path that follows the valley leave a lasting impression.
