Right now, it’s raining spring rain in Jeju.

With the warm spring weather, lots of people come to Jeju—but you can’t just feel devastated because it rains during your trip, right?

Let me introduce some places where you can truly soak up that Jeju vibe when it rains.

Chasaenghwal

Chasaenghwal in Jeoji-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, offers a variety of teas roasted by the owner in-house.

They also have desserts that pair well with tea, making it a great place to spend time with a delicious cup of tea.

There’s also a well-kept garden and a gallery, so there’s plenty to see, too.

Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art

The Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art is located in the Jeoji Artist Village, where you can enjoy a wide range of artworks.

It’s small, but there’s also a solid media art section.

O’sulloc

O’sulloc is one of Jeju’s signature travel spots.

Is there anyone who hasn’t taken at least one photo in that huge green tea field?

It’s a great place to visit on a sunny day, but on a rainy day it has a totally different kind of charm.

It’s lovely to stroll through the tea fields with an umbrella~

And it’s also wonderful to sit in the big-window café (Innisfree House) and watch the rainy tea-field scenery.

Okki416

Okki416 is a book & bakery café tucked away in a small village in Namwon-eup.

It’s the kind of place where you can fully feel the warm, cozy vibe that only a small café can offer.

Since it’s a renovated stone warehouse, it’s full of Jeju character.

Jeju Provincial Kim Tschang-Yeul Art Museum

This is where you can see the works of painter Kim Tschang-Yeul, known for the “aesthetics of transparency” and his iconic water-drop paintings.

It’s also located in the Jeoji Artist Village.

Suaegi Bakery

Suaegi Bakery sits along the coastal road in Mosulpo.

It’s on the west coast, so it’s famous for beautiful sunsets.

It first started gaining buzz for the ocean view through the window, but now even more locals come for how good the bread is.

It’s especially well-known for its salt bread~

Bunker de Lumières

Bunker de Lumières is an immersive media art space where you can experience famous paintings through light and music.

Right now, it’s exhibiting works by Monet, Renoir, Chagall, and more.

Kim Jungmun Aloe Jeju Farm

This is an aloe botanical garden in Seongeup.

It’s the only place in Korea where you can see around 300 types of aloe from around the world.

Since it’s an indoor attraction, it’s a great place to visit on a rainy day.

Mippeun Confectionery

The hanok café Mippeun Confectionery is located on Noeulhaean-ro, famous for its stunning sunsets.

The café building is beautiful, the spacious garden is beautiful, the view is beautiful~

On top of that, they offer many kinds of bread, so it’s a popular stop for lots of people.
