Even with elementary-school kids, it takes only about 30 minutes to 1 hour to reach the top—making it a perfect oreum (parasitic cone) on Hallasan for families. From the summit, you’ll see the winding ridgelines of Hallasan and the scenery around Jeju City—an absolutely moving view. And even though it’s not the very peak of Hallasan, your kids will still get a great bragging right: “I’ve been to Hallasan!”

Starlight sparkling in the night sky is always magical. At Jeju Byeolbitnuri Park, you can observe real stars and enjoy a variety of space-themed experiences. In the planetarium with its dome screen, you can see the night sky in every season regardless of the weather, and in the 4D theater you can take a thrilling, rollercoaster-like ride on a journey through space. Once it gets dark, you can observe actual stars through telescopes in the observatory—kids find it fascinating. Gift your children a glittering night sky they can’t easily see in the city!
