대평포구

This small port is located in Daepyeong-ri, Andeok-myeon, and is known as the finish of Jeju Olle Course 8 and the starting point of Course 9. It sits next to the Jeju dialect-named village of “Nandeureu,” meaning a wide field, where you can soak up Jeju’s peaceful fishing-village atmosphere. Behind the port, the Baksugijeong coastal cliffs—rising to over about 100 meters—stretch out like a folding screen, creating a distinctive landscape. Today, it’s a quiet harbor used by small fishing boats and charter boats, and many travelers visit to enjoy coastal strolls and walking the Olle Trail. Around sunset, the cliffs and sea glow red, making it a hidden gem in southwestern Jeju. It’s also known historically as a port that once transported Jeju horses, offering a place to experience nature, history, and local village charm together.
