소개
Daepyeong Port is a small harbor located in Daepyeong-ri, Andeok-myeon. It is known as the finishing point of Jeju Olle Trail Course 8 and the starting point of Course 9. Adjacent to the Jeju dialect-named “Nandeureu” village, meaning a wide field, it offers the quiet atmosphere of a distinctly Jeju fishing village. Behind the port, the Baksugijeong coastal cliffs—rising to over about 100 meters—stretch like a folding screen, creating a unique landscape. Today, it is a peaceful port used by small fishing boats and charter fishing boats, and many visitors come to enjoy coastal walks and Olle trail trekking. Around sunset, you can take in a beautiful view as the cliffs and sea turn crimson, making it a hidden gem of Jeju’s southwest. It is also known historically as a port where Jeju horses were once transported, allowing you to experience nature, history, and village charm all in one place.
