소개

Located in Dongmyeong-ri, Hallim-eup, this is a Joseon-era fortress site and a historic cultural attraction designated as Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Monument No. 29. Parts of the fortress have been restored, and a walk along the stone wall paths lets you sense the history of Jeju’s former coastal defenses. From atop the fortress, you can take in sweeping views of villages around Hallim, Biyangdo Island, and the sea of western Jeju. Its relatively quiet atmosphere makes it ideal for a relaxed stroll and photography, and the scenery is especially beautiful around sunset. It’s a hidden gem where you can enjoy both historical exploration and the natural landscapes of western Jeju.
