Byeongak

An oreum located in Sangchang-ri, Andeok-myeon, and one of the twin-shaped oreum that connects with Sobyeongak. It features a ridge-like terrain covered in dense forest, and is known as a woodland trekking course that follows a trail with a mix of relatively gentle sections and uphill stretches. From parts of the summit area, you can view Sanbangsan to the west of Jeju and the surrounding oreum landscape, but overall it is less about wide-open panoramic views and more about experiencing the forest and oreum terrain up close. With its quiet atmosphere, it is a place to experience the archetypal nature of Jeju’s oreum, and is often visited as a linked walking route together with Sobyeongak.
