Sanbangsan Canola Flowers

This is one of Jeju’s 대표 canola flower spots, created near Sanbangsan. In spring, yellow canola blossoms fill the broad fields, with the magnificent Sanbangsan rising behind like a natural backdrop—making it famous as a place that captures an iconic Jeju landscape. The striking volcanic terrain of Sanbangsan and the vivid colors of the flowers make it especially popular for photos, and on clear days you can enjoy open views that take in Songaksan, Hyeongjeseom (Brother Islands), and even Gapado in the distance. The paths are relatively flat, so it’s great for a light stroll, and in spring many travelers visit to enjoy Jeju’s signature canola-flower scenery. It’s also a top spring destination in western Jeju for planning a route together with Yongmeori Coast, Sagye Beach, and Sanbangsan Carbonated Hot Springs nearby.
