소개
A 395m-high trachyte dome volcano, it is one of Jeju’s most uniquely shaped mountains. Its massive bell-shaped silhouette is striking, and it is a natural heritage site of Jeju formed by volcanic activity hundreds of thousands of years ago. Halfway up the mountain sits Sanbanggulsa, a designated Natural Monument, where you can take in beautiful coastal views and a mysterious atmosphere. Around Sanbangsan, you can see Yongmeori Coast, the Hyeongje Islands, Songaksan, and the Sagye Coast at a glance. In spring, when canola flowers bloom, the area offers one of Jeju’s most iconic vistas. Steeped in Jeju myths and legends, it is a signature destination where nature, history, and culture meet.
