소개
Located in the heart of Yeon-dong, this urban park takes its name from Jeju’s “Sammu (Three No’s)” spirit—meaning the island was said to have had no thieves, no gates, and no beggars. Developed as a neighborhood park in 1978, it sits atop Beduri Oreum, a small volcanic hill, allowing visitors to feel close to nature even in the city. Inside the park, a rare Mika-type steam locomotive—one of the few remaining in Korea—is on display, making it a nice place to explore with children. With well-maintained walking paths, exercise facilities, and resting areas, it’s a beloved spot for locals to unwind. In spring, the weeping cherry blossoms bloom beautifully, and the park is considered one of Jeju City’s notable cherry blossom destinations. Close to Jeju International Airport, it’s also an easy stop for a light stroll during your trip.
