Sombancheon

A natural ecological stream and a rare valley in Jeju where water flows year-round. Flowing upstream toward Cheonjiyeon Falls, it is known as a healing spot where clear, cold water and dense forest come together, letting you feel close to nature even in the city. In summer, many families visit to wade and play in the water, and some sections are relatively shallow, making it a good place to visit with children. Walking paths are well maintained around the valley for an easy stroll, and you can also take a break at nearby cafes such as Sombannae Punggyeong while enjoying the stream scenery. With convenient access close to downtown Seogwipo, it is recommended as a great nature course to combine with Geolmae Ecological Park or Cheonjiyeon Falls.
