Wimi-ri Cherry Blossom Road

A cherry blossom attraction created around Wimi-ri in Namwon-eup, well known as one of the earliest-blooming cherry blossom roads in Jeju. Along the tree-lined road stretching about 4–5 km, deep pink blossoms come into full bloom, and visitors can enjoy the “Wimi-ri cherry blossoms,” which are known to bloom earlier than typical king cherry blossoms. At peak season, the entire village is filled with bright spring scenery, drawing many travelers and photographers. It’s a great place to enjoy the blossoms on a drive, or to take a slow walk and soak in the spring atmosphere. It’s also a prime spring destination in southern Jeju to visit together with nearby attractions such as the Wimi Camellia Colony, Soesokkak, and the Namwon Coastal Road.
