소개
This oreum rises to 539 m above sea level, and its name is said to have come from its catlike silhouette. It features an east-opening, horseshoe-shaped crater, where lush natural woodland blends with cedar forest paths—making it one of Jeju’s most forest-charming oreum. Nearby, Hallasan Dulle-gil and the Sinryecheon Ecological Trail connect to offer a variety of trekking routes, and deep in the woods lies Haegmeuniso, a hidden spot where cliffs, a waterfall, and a deep pool (沼) come together. From the summit, you can take in views of Hallasan, Saraoreum, and the Seongneoreum area. It’s also well known for its beautiful cherry-blossom road in spring and vivid autumn foliage. A special natural attraction where you can experience both Jeju’s oreum scenery and a primeval-feeling forest trail.
