Jangjeon-ri King Cherry Blossom Street

One of Jeju’s 대표 spots for king cherry blossoms. Every spring, the king cherry trees bloom in full on both sides of the road, creating a beautiful tunnel of blossoms. Along with Jeonnong-ro in Jeju City, it’s considered one of Jeju’s 대표 cherry blossom roads. In Aewol-eup in particular, the annual King Cherry Blossom Festival is held around this area, making it a local spring highlight. It is also introduced as an official cherry blossom attraction on the Jeju Tourism Organization’s Visit Jeju. During the season, you can enjoy bright daytime scenery as well as a romantic evening atmosphere with lights. Because the road stretches for a long distance, it’s great for a scenic drive and also for a slow walk to take in the blossoms—perfect to visit with family, a partner, or friends. It also connects well with nearby routes such as the Aewol Cafe Street and the Handam Coastal Walkway, making it easy to include in a spring Jeju travel itinerary.
