소개

Located off the coast of Gosan-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, this is Jeju’s largest uninhabited island and a 대표 natural attraction of western Jeju. It takes about 10 minutes by boat from Jagunae Port to reach the island. Chagwido is famous for its stunning views where steep coastal cliffs, unique rock formations, and the deep blue sea come together. Walking the island’s coastal trail lets you experience Jeju’s pristine nature up close, and the surrounding waters also offer cruise sightseeing and sea-fishing experiences. In particular, the scenery around Chagwido—such as Beom Bawi (Tiger Rock), Janggun Bawi (General Rock), and sea caves—is considered among Jeju’s finest, and it is also beloved as a sunset spot. A highly recommended place to visit if you want to feel the grandeur of Jeju’s nature.
