A 대표 viewpoint in Jeju located on the mid-slope of Hallasan at about 1,100 m above sea level, and one of the highest points on the island accessible by car. Situated at the summit section of 1100 Road connecting Jeju City and Seogwipo City, it’s also a popular driving course. On clear days, the ridgelines of Hallasan and Jeju’s mid-mountain landscapes unfold in a single sweeping view. In winter, it’s famed for snowy vistas, snow-covered trees, and rime ice; in autumn, for silver grass and fall foliage; and in summer, for its refreshingly cool temperatures—offering a completely different mood each season. Directly across the road is the 1100 Highland Ecological Swamp trail, making it easy to add a short walk. It’s a must-visit course for experiencing Jeju’s nature without any hassle.
