As soon as we stepped onto Biyangdo—holy ground for campers—a huge wind came blowing in from the open sea.

There are two places in Jeju called Biyangdo.

Hallim Biyangdo, the picture-perfect view you can see from Hyeopjae and Geumneung Beach.

And Biyangdo on Udo, beloved by campers.

This is Geommeolle Beach, where we were captivated by the majestic rocky cliffs.

You should also hike up Udobong, the highest point on Udo, right?

How about walking past Udobong and all the way to Udo Lighthouse?

After crossing wide open fields in the refreshing breeze, you’ll reach the lighthouse—where all of Udo spreads out before your eyes.

At Tolkani Beach, known for its beautiful coastal path, you can enjoy wide-open views of Seongsan Ilchulbong across the water.

Udo is one of the larger islands that belong to Jeju.

Unlike islands you can easily explore on foot—like Biyangdo, Marado, and Gapado—we recommend getting around Udo by electric car.
