While you’re traveling in Jeju, famous crowded attractions are great—but sometimes you just want a quiet, mood-filled place to take beautiful photos, right?
The four places I’m introducing today are fairly well-known, yet still surprisingly unknown to many—truly Jeju-like hidden photo spots.
They’re perfect for SNS-style shots, and you can capture the atmosphere of nature at the same time, so they’re well worth a stop.
1. Gimnyeong Badang-gil
This coastal attraction in Gimnyeong-ri is a special place where a sea path appears only during low tide, twice a day. Also known as the Gimnyeong Sea Path or Tteooreugil, it’s considered a hidden photo spot in Jeju thanks to the unique view of a path opening across emerald waters. Since you can walk it only when the tide is out, checking the tide times before visiting is essential. On clear days, you can enjoy beautiful scenery where the sea and sky blend together. Located near Gimnyeong Beach and Cheonggulmul, it’s great to visit together, and is recommended for travelers who want to experience the quiet charm of Jeju’s sea. The special view available only at low tide creates a unique memory for your Jeju trip.

Badang-gil near Gimnyeong Beach is a coastal path that only appears at low tide. Normally it’s hidden under the sea, but when the water recedes, you’ll see an unusual scene where the route connects like a real walkway. Because it feels like you’re walking on the ocean, it’s been quietly gaining buzz among people who love taking aesthetic photos.
Tip: Definitely check the low-tide time before you go. At high tide, it’s just… the sea.
My take: If you time it right, the scenery is truly special. It’s also fun to stroll along the exposed shoreline.
2. Changkkom Bawi
A unique photo spot where you can enjoy ocean views through a naturally formed circular hole in the center of the rock. Located near the Bukchon Hwanhaejangseong Fortress Wall and the coastal walking trail, it’s great to visit together. The scenery—Jeju’s distinctive basalt terrain set against the deep blue sea—is especially striking. Though not large, many travelers come for the picture-perfect, frame-like view of the ocean seen through the hole. The atmosphere changes with the tides and weather, making it a 대표 natural attraction along Jeju’s eastern coast with ever-changing charm.

If you shoot through the gap between the rocks, it naturally frames your subject and the background like a picture frame—making it a perfect quiet spot for photos.
Tip: Go in the late afternoon around sunset—warm light pours through the “frame” for maximum mood.
My take: I loved how calm and uncrowded it was. Fewer people than the nearby beach, so you can take photos at your own pace.
3. Keuneong Coastal Scenic Area
This is a beautiful walking course where the Jeju sea, rugged rock cliffs, and a dense forest path come together in harmony. “Keuneong” is a Jeju dialect word referring to a large rock shade or cave formed in a seaside cliff—true to its name, you can enjoy distinctive coastal cliff scenery here. The seaside walkway is relatively gentle, making it easy for visitors of all ages to stroll, and along the way you’ll encounter Jeju’s signature views created by the blue ocean and basalt cliffs. Loved as a healing walk thanks to the natural forest trail and refreshing ocean 전망, it’s considered a must-visit spot when traveling in southeastern Jeju.

This is a coastal walking course around Namwon-eup, known for its stunning views where cliffs and ocean come together.
As you walk, there’s a photo point where you can see a Korean Peninsula-shaped view—photos taken there are especially famous. It’s still not widely known among tourists, but locals have loved this walking path for a long time.
Tip: The photo point is about midway along the coastal trail.
My take: The path is easy to walk, not too demanding, and the overall vibe is relaxed for taking photos.
4. Green Tea Cave
Located in Pyoseon-myeon, this green tea-themed café offers a wide expanse of tea fields and a variety of experiences. You can enjoy drinks and desserts made with Jeju organic green tea, and its signature items are hojicha ice cream and matcha ice cream. Beyond the café, you can also try a green tea foot bath and visit the Seongeup Green Tea Cave, making it especially popular with travelers looking for something different in Jeju. The view of the tea fields outside the windows and the tranquil atmosphere are key charms, making it a relaxing Jeju healing spot that suits both families and couples.
플레이스 보기Hidden deeper inside the green tea fields of Pyoseon-myeon, this is a secret cave photo spot. Walk about 10 minutes along the tea field, and you’ll spot the cave entrance peeking out between trees and bushes.
Inside, mossy stone walls and natural light come together to create an atmosphere that feels like a movie set. It’s gotten a bit of buzz on SNS, but it’s still rarely crowded.
Tip: Since you’ll be walking on dirt paths, sneakers are recommended! If you want a quieter vibe, visiting in the morning is best.
My take: It genuinely feels like a fairy tale. Especially when you shoot from inside the cave looking outward—the mood is unbeatable.

All the places I introduced today are the kind that make people say, “How did you even find a spot like this?”
I think they’re even more appealing because they sit in that sweet spot of being known, but not too well-known.
They’re uncrowded, so you can enjoy Jeju’s nature at a relaxed pace—and still come away with those once-in-a-lifetime shots.
