Gwangchigi Beach

A 대표 natural attraction in eastern Jeju, located between Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seopjikoji. At low tide, unique lava rock layers are revealed, blending with vivid green moss to create a distinctive coastal landscape found only in Jeju. It is especially well known as a photo spot at sunrise, when you can capture the sun rising behind Seongsan Ilchulbong in one sweeping view. With its black sand, broad shoreline, and scenery that changes with the seasons, it’s also a popular place for a walk.
