Over the last long weekend, my family from the mainland came to visit Jeju.
Since it had been a while since the whole big family got together, we switched into full tourist mode!
So I put together a one-day itinerary focused on Jeju’s west side.
But with 10 people, even just admission fees felt like a lot.

We watched the first show at 10:30.
If you want good seats, arriving 30 minutes early is recommended!
It was a dazzling hour of nonstop focus—acrobatic aerial acts, a motorcycle show, and more.

🐘 Jumbo Village — A Great Elephant Experience for Kids
Location: 31-11 Pyeonghwa-ro 319beon-gil, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si

Includes parade viewing and ecological commentary / No additional charge with Jeju Tour Pass
Feeding the elephants is an optional add-on, so we purchased it separately. (10,000 won for 2 people)
The parade is held 4 times a day (11:00 / 13:00 / 15:00 / 17:00).
We waited for the 13:00 parade and took a break at the cafe inside—honestly, the bread was better than expected, and there’s also a kids’ zone, so it was a great place to pass the time.
🌲 Sanyang Keuneonggot — A Storybook-Like Forest Walk
Location: 956-6 Cheongsu-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si
Regular price: Adult 8,000 won / Child 6,000 won / Jeju residents 4,000 won

It’s a forest walking trail decorated like a fairytale village.
There are lots of photo spots, and it’s a great route to walk with kids.
But in summer, plan for the heat before you go!
On days over 30°C, even the forest feels muggy—I was sweating nonstop.
It would probably be even nicer in spring or fall.
☕ Mippeun Bakery — A Cozy Hanok Cafe Stop with Ocean Views
Location: 16 Dowonnam-ro, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si

The hanok building and its beautiful garden really stand out.
They also have traditional games for kids, and the ocean view is lovely—an easy place to relax at your own pace.
Right across the road is a coastal drive where, if you’re lucky, you might even spot dolphins!
